The Old Man and the Sea

The story follows an aging fisherman who struggles to catch a giant marlin in the Gulf Stream. After an extended battle, he finally catches the fish but faces a long journey home, during which sharks attack and devour the marlin. Despite his efforts, he returns with only the skeleton of the fish, symbolizing the struggle between man and nature, and the themes of endurance, pride, and the inevitability of defeat.
